Legal Advisor - Saffelberg Investments

Function Description


  • Providing general legal support to Saffelberg Investments NV (and its portfolio companies).

  • Reporting to and working closely with the General Counsel and the Directors of Saffelberg / management of the portfolio companies.

  • Providing legal and managerial support (by offering advice, assistance and documentation on issues and transactions) on a variety of legal matters and in a broad sense, primarily focused on corporate/company law, M&A and general contractual law.



Belgium (main offices located in Gooik (1755)) – occasional travel abroad.



The candidate is master in Law with good/excellent academic credentials and a fast learner. He or she has at least a few years professional experience, such as working as a corporate secretary / lawyer in an investment/PE company, holding company or law firm (or similar role with relevant experience). An additional degree (MaNaMa) in company law, fiscal law, financial or economic sciences is considered a strong asset.

He or she is stress resistant and displays a strong and mature personality and can adequately cope with simultaneous and sometimes conflicting requirements. He or she has some entrepreneurial skills and a client-oriented approach and is a good team player. Potentially interesting growth opportunities within Saffelberg Investments or one of its portfolio companies.

The candidate is and effective communicator and has an excellent mastery of Dutch and English. A good working knowledge (orally and in writing) of French is a must.
