Thomas Van den Abbeele joined Saffelberg in 2023 as Accounting & Tax Manager. He is responsible for the overall bookkeeping and tax management of Saffelberg and its subsidiaries.

 

Prior to joining Saffelberg he worked as a Manager Accountancy for an independent accounting firm for 7 years.

 

In this period Thomas acquired lots of experience working for several clients in varied sectors. He worked extensively with a big independent private equity investment group that supports entrepreneurs in realizing their growth ambitions. Thomas also supported his previous employer in the digitalization and optimalisation of the accounting systems.

 

Thomas studied at the High School of Gent where he obtained his certificate in Accounting & tax. He also obtained a Postgraduate certificate at the “Fiscale Hogeschool of Brussel”.
